Not sure he does this in the SEC, but I'm willing to go out on a limb and say he's the best QB in the country. You don't get to 80% completion just playing give-me teams and guys being wide open, you still have to be extremely accurate and make tough throws.
Wasn't there some story behind him coming from another country or starting football late. Something? I thought he had a story, maybe not.
I can't help but to be impressed by Baylor's OC though. Turning Griffin into a beast when schools like Oklahoma and Texas wanted him but wanted him to play other positions. He leaves and has looked solid in his short career while his back up replaces him like it was nothing. That's something.
I would like to think our athletes could contain them more than this, at least in the first half. I think it will take time to install and it might get better. Problem is, I don't know how much time Dooley has. It's like Fulmer bringing in Clawson when he couldn't afford to lose. It's not Dooley's fault Wilcox bolted but it's one of those times where you can't afford a down season while trying to change your system.
