No.

Those guys are important, but there are other players we can get, players we probably don't even know about yet.

Plus, we DO have good players already lined up, but Harris and Pinkston will definitely bring us to another level. However, to say that, without those guys, we will be screwed or become Georgia is the kind of constant pessimism that drives me crazy on this board.

Ah, yes, because saying someone is a good coach means I'm polishing his knob. Good call. According to this logic, I guess this means that Calipari and Huggins are running a train based on how you step and fetch to absolve them of their misdeeds.

My prediction is the first time you visit a Kentucky board you will find that you were way wrong on this one. Way.

The same is probably true about Illinois boards, but I'm not sure if they have any boards.

Yet, you will still complain about the "snitch" after 20 years. I wonder what trouble Pearl's programs have had with the NCAA in his 20 years of coaching? Hmmm...

Plus, I love the "NCAA absolved them" line. Not, they didn't do anything or run a really clean and tight program. No, they didn't get busted. Yes, and OJ was acquitted, too.

The Illinois board on Scout has a bunch of posters. And, no, they do not like Pearl. Look for any post with "the Devil" in it, although, recently, that may include Eric Gordon, too.

Especially if they are successful coaches that you have personal and jealousy issues with. Of course, if they "snitch" on cheating programs like Illinois was under Henson, I generally call them "whistleblowers".

I agree to a point, but before Bruce's success, people weren't lining up to donate to the b-ball program. Both guys did a great job of getting that thing built. Now, having equal facilities as anybody else, we really need to take that next step with success in the 'AAs.

It's pretty obvious you have ego issues. You fancy yourself as some kind of professional, yet get bogged down into every little petty and childish argument here. Most of the time I'm just egging you on because...well...you deserve it. So, combine that with your over the top remarks about Pearl, on a Tennessee site no less, and it's not too hard to put 2+2 together for the whole jealousy deal.

I've seen a ton of guys like you in the recruiting game. You cuddle up to various coaches, tout your connections to a bunch of followers, condescend to everyone who may question you and basically become a wannabe coach. Unfortunately, you have the social part down, but the basketball knowledge eludes you.

Bottom line. If you are going to profess yourself as some kind of expert/professional on a team's website, then spend years making thousands of nasty comments about their successful coach, guess what? You will get a ton of crap for it. It isn't a coincidence that supporters of a Vol coach are going to a site called volnation and taking offense at the comments.

So, grow a set and deal with the consequences of your BS. If Pearl starts losing, you'll have plenty of support. Until then, he's winning and you won't (Well, other than a few suckers who are impressed by you being a coaching groupie).

you have offered nothing BUT criticism for HAT and others since you have been here. YOU have offered nothing but criticism since you have been here, but nothing beneficial the board.
