Wow. We beat them head to head and make it further in the tourney (with them in the same region, no less), and we are an inferior team?

Note, we are talking about teams, not programs.

That's another person "tweeting" to Jay. The person asked Jay why Selby would come here when he could go to Kansas and start right away with a "great" team, and Jay is questioning whether or not Kansas will be "great" next year.

Point of clarification here...Jay is actually "Re tweeting" a post from one his followers, most likely a KU fan as evident by the question. The "RT @suttonneal" means that everything that follows that is from the follower. "What would Selby have to work with at Tennessee? step right in with a great team and start for #Kansas." Those are "suttonneal's" words not Jay's.

Jay is answering by saying "Great Team??" as in Tennessee is also a great team...either than or he is questioning whether or not Kansas will have a great team next year.

not really my point. What I'm saying is the "look what they said bad about UT" posts without knowing what they are talking about is crazy. Why follow something when you don't even know how it works?

B. I was asking if I read it wrong. Notice there are a couple different answers.

I learned my lesson from the whole Markeith Ambles/Jeff Luc disaster. I'll celebrate AFTER the ink dries on Selby's signed commitment.

While Memphis has a nice class, they STILL havent addressed their biggest need....a BIG man to bang down low.....This group they have committed just doesnt have that yet...so while you may have a number one class on paper, we all know that addressing your needs is the most important aspect of a recruiting class...see the 2011 Football Vols....the class may not be number one or even a top twenty...but the needs we have to fill are more important than rankings...

You're right, I am just saying I seem to remember a time long ago when VN was up in arms about EG leaving. He went to FSU IIRC so I think that impacted Luc's decision. Seems like forever ago. He left way before Kiffin & Co. did.

I'll believe it when I see it. Although I noticed the other night that when ESPN showed the schools Selby was considering we were nowhere on the list. I hope he chooses us just to screw with them.
