Best formula for CFB. Playofff won't compare. It always works out. Two best teams are plying for championship.

The playoff will make it a lot better IMO. The best two teams don't always make the championship game. It's like that in every sport.

There is only two years I think it really got it wrong. Allowing OU in after they lost the BIG12CG over USC in 03 and again in 04 over an undefeated Auburn.

There will be even more controversy over the log jam of 1 loss teams for 3 and 4 seeds.

I think if Bama played auburn 10 times this year they'd win 7/10 times. I'm not sure the best teams are playing.

I do think the most deserving teams are playing though

I hate to say it, but I think Bama is still the best team in the country.

They would wax FSU and win a rematch against Auburn.

"cuz we've beaten the best teams there are". That was the Auburn rb's simple-but-sweet answer to the question of why they should be in the NC game. The bcs got it right this year, but I'm all for the playoff system.

I prefer the playoff, but the BCS isn't as bad as it's cracked up to be IMO.

Honestly, after Auburn's win today, I think it would've been a grave injustice for OSU to get in over them, even if OSU had won today. Auburn is clearly the better team. They've beaten the best teams in the country, and their strength of schedule completely dominates OSU's. If OSU had gotten in over Auburn, I would've derided the BCS, but things turned out right.

I'll clarify too: Auburn is a handful of plays of being 8-4. The fact remains that they're not.

At least they played someone. I still think given the time to prepare, FSU will not be a pushover.
