I have FSU in my bowl pool. Given how my pool has worked out, I recommend everyone rushing out to put huge money on Auburn.

War Eagle. They have some serious angels in the outfield stuff going on.

I think Auburn has an advantage in that they've played talented teams and know how to win. I think they will come out early and smack FSU in the mouth. However, I think FSU will be able to recover if Winston is as good as advertised. Should be close, but Auburn's been there recently with Malzahn, and you can't discredit how much that is worth. I'll take Auburn in a shoot out (in the 40's)

auburn also knows how to lose tho lol

That's true, but Florida State's only tough game this season was against Clemson. I know that was a blowout, but I'm inclined to believe it was a fluke because they beat Clemson worse than some of the bad teams they've played.

Florida State is super talented, but they've never had to adjust a game plan to win. They'll have to tonight, because Auburn is most likely the best defense they've played all year.

And they absolutely rolled clemson in clemson. I just think the "knows how to win" attribute as advantage against a team that has done nothing but win is pretty crazy.

auburn's defense isn't all that good... pass rush could affect winston, though, forsure.

FSU will win this and perhaps win big. Not sure on the spread, but I feel pretty certain FSU pulls out the W.

Remember Oregon this year. They were rolling people and then Stanford punched them in the mouth. Middle of 3rd quarter down by 10 they had one player laughing like he was going to the club and another crying his eyes out on the bench. They had been winning but didn't know how to win a close ball game. That could be an issue for FSU.

You may be right. I guess we will see.

If auburn does win a close one, I chalk it up more to "yep, auburn won" than "damn, fsu blew too many teams out, didn't know how to win"... all i was saying.

I understand. I wasn't as much saying FSU DOESN'T know how to win as I was Auburn DOES know how to win. I do think it helps out the gate, even if it's minimal.

If Auburn does win in a close one though, I think you may be able to chalk it up as Auburn just being the luckiest team in history.

The end of that Georgia game just doesn't fall into the knowing how to win category to me.

the bowl games are a terrible measuring stick but that said the acc has looked awful outside of Clemson and duke. Plus Gus is a better coach than jimbo.
