BCS National Championship

The stupidity of this is that they took two VERY southern teams and sent them to a bowl game in California. Let them play in New Orleans.

Yeah, it looks like neither team was able to get fans to attend the game. They didn't really send them to a game in Cali, that's just how the rotation worked out. The site for this game was probably set 10 years ago.

FSU? They turned it down during the first expansion

I meant during the last round, when we were looking for our 14th team.

I know they turned it down the first time, which is partially why I feel we were right not to even consider them after adding A&M.

But they clearly wanted in this round; I think they even went out of their way to create an expansion committee just in response to rumors the conference might have been interested.

That fake punt was huge for FSU. This could turn into a game again in FSU scores coming out of the half

Ahh, thanks. I'm unaware of the politics involved.

It's a rotation to let all of the major bowl games get a chance to host the national title game, so as not to favor any one over the other three.

Saban should have taken Texas job because Malzhan going to wear him out.... Why didn't Hart talk to Malzhan when we were hiring?

Not sure. I think Malzahn is a heck of a coach but he wouldn't be having nearly this type of success right now if he were at UT. Remember, a lot of these guys were familiar with his system from when he was Chizik's OC.

Auburn had a ton of talent when Malzahn came in. Tennessee hasn't had any in years.

Saban wearing a blue sports jacket and a blue tie. Seems to me like he's headed to Penn St.

Soon...
