Be careful in those garden centers

I clipped the tail on a little Brown snake yesterday when I was weed eating. These guys are harmless and usually let you pick them up without issue.

That would freak me out beyond repair. There's no way I could knowingly walk into a place with that many snakes....I would be worse than Will Ferrell in the Campaign.

Haha

We once spotted a sizable lizard dead center at the bottom of our pool. I thought it must have fallen in and drowned but when I fished it out I saw it had a big gash through its side. Best I can figure, a hawk or owl must have caught it then accidentally dropped it while flying over.

It could have been another jealous lizard shanked it, pushed it in the pool, then ran off. You never know with reptiles.

when i first moved here,i was talking to a really old gent and he asked me if I had sen any copperhead snakes,he said that they use to be everywhere around here, but the government had came in way back and sprayed for them

I told him i hadn't seen any,it does make you wonder what they sprayed for them,if he was right

and snakes are everywhere, the girl said she thought it could have been avoided, but they can be pretty much anywhere, good or bad ones :)

Thank god I work in the receiving department of Lowe's and not in the garden center anymore. We don't have copperheads over here in West TN but we do have quite a few water moccasins
