Beamer knows a future whoppin' is coming

I wonder how many of these types of posts are made by young college football fans.

I've been alive long enough to see many teams struggle/lose week 1 just to kick butts in the future. Not going to overlook USCe and while I'm optimistic the improved defense should result in a solid win, they scored 63 last year while looking like crap against almost every other team they played. And we see now Clemson might not be the Clemson of old, now losing 3 in a row to SC, UT and Duke.

Let's celebrate after the win, not before.
slight correction they beat NC in the ACC championship game in-between their losses to SC & TN.

We should beat them by multiple scores. Neyland will be as loud as its ever been as our crowd will be out for blood. They shouldn't have even beaten us last year but we obviously had something internal going on and the team was not mentally into the game. This is the one game that I'm planning on coming into town for this year.

the South Carolina game may be the most rockin game this year at Neyland tied with Georgia

...until we beat Georgia and the goalposts go into the river again of course :)

I’m pretty sure everyone planned to, including us. But as the great philosopher Mike Tyson once said, “Everybody’s got a plan…until they get punched in the mouth.”
If anyone ever combines this with covering eligible receivers and attacking runners with sure handed tackling near the LOS, they will be damn near unstoppable.

living here in Upstate SC, keeping my mouth shut until clocks hit 0:00 and Vols are on top. But, today has been interesting, Clemson radio holding therapy sessions, pointing fingers, talking about team chemistry and a team with not dawgs. Seems I've heard this kinda of talk before on KVille radio.

ah the memories

could dabo's seat actually become warm by the end of the season considering what they once were compared to the dooley team and coach they have now

I'll keep saying this til the end of time... I just don't understand the love for this guy. He lucked into two all time bad performances last year, one by the Vols defense and one by Clemson's QB and then gets credit for the wins. I understand that's the way the business works, head coaches get plenty of credit and plenty of blame, but sometimes you'll see the press frame it the right way. Not so here. And apart from all that, he's just a giant gas bag phony with one of the most punchable faces I've ever seen.

I'll be at the aTm game but I kind of wish I was going to this one instead. I'll be really surprised if it's not an absolute beatdown.

Ratler is darn good if his head’s in the game. He’s a real schizo as a QB, so there’s no telling which version of him we get.

Unless we allow him to run around like Houdini again making something out of nothing then we should be fine.

"They got to the point in the game last year where they were like, wow that worked. Well let me try this....well that worked too. Wow everything is working even busted plays. Their (UT) QB even got hurt in our sand field without being touched and fumbled then we (South Carolina) recovered. Then we (South Carolina) threw the football late in the 4th quarter up around 3 scores immediately after the terrible injury in a classless move."

Not to feed the hate but one of their fans showed up at the SEC gameday broadcast before the UVA game with a sign that said”Rattler just scored on UT again”.

I am hoping for an epic beat down this year. Not going to count chickens but the status of their OLine makes me smile.

When in a very unexpected beatdown loss, Beamer complains about the chain crew eating a hotdog too long to start the second half, along with the clock he says being wrong the entire game, you know he knows they have a beatdown coming at Neyland this season. Rattler and the gamecocks had only 45 yards rushing late in the game but ended up with 31 total rushing yards as he got sacked a couple of times more. Just another thing that lets Beamer know what is on his schedule.

All excuses with that giy

Really wanted to like or respect him, due to his Dad and thought he interned here (did I have that wrong?),just could not pull it off. He seriously jumped on a high horse upon arrival at SCe.
I believe you are correct; Shane may have been a GA in Knoxville. You'd think he would show a little more class towards UT given the apparent respect shown to Frank Beamer. Since it looks like he has no respect for anyone, I truly hope he and the Gamecocks are humbled (far greater than UNC did) later this month.

They aren’t going to be sneaking up on anyone in Knoxville this year. AT LEAST 2 TD win.
