Beer (and beer pics!)

been wanting to try that. How's the mouthfeel on it? I hate stouts that are thin.

Agree, I like my stouts to pour like used motor oil. I thought it was thick and creamy, like chocolate milk. It was the last beer of several last night so next time I want to drink this one on a fresh palate but I thought it was really good.

Went to Florence, AL last night and had some Singin' River Brewery beers, not bad.

However, I'm big on marketing and I think their logos and labels are the worst.

That is bad. I think New Belgium does a fantastic job on their marketing. I bought about a dozen of their posters when I went to their brewery in CO, and had them all framed. Their artwork is fantastic.

It's Alabama, what else would you expect? So far, the only thing I've found to like about the state is the golf :)

Couple of beers I had over the weekend. Sierra Nevada Ovila Abbey Saison and Ovila Abbey Quad. Both very good but I prefer the Quad.

Yazoo Hopry has a great hoppy finish, but starts with some buttery notes I didn't care for.

The Red House IPA was on point, tho.
