Beer (and beer pics!)

Tonight I drank:

Toppling Goliath's Pseudo Sue - fantastic, absolutely brilliant.

New Glarus's Screen IIPA - very good IIPA

Southern Tier Mokah - heavenly.

I'd like to try anything Toppling Goliath does.

It's so damn difficult to get. I've never personally seen it for sale anywhere in town and I live about 2 hours from the brewery. It sells out almost immediately when it's available. It only comes in bombers, though.

Straight To Ale is making some really fine beer in Huntsville. Bourbon Barrel-Aged Laika is awesome.

Straigh to Ale, Blue Pants, Old Black Bear, Rocket Republic, Salty Nut, Yellowhammer are all in Huntsville and some of the best craft beer out there. We have this event every year (coming up in May) called Brewfest and its basically a huge beer tasting extravaganza. I have been for the past 5 years and every year it gets bigger and I get a little drunker during it lol.

Enjoyed a sixpack of this last night. Made in Gadsden, Alabama

We have some former and current Huntsville beer folk that come to our beer events in Nashville. Everyone loves Joan and Jedi

Toppling Goliath is great. New glares scream is good as well. Mokah is just too sweet (as a number of southern tire) is just to sweet for me to have more than a taste

Huntsville is a cool place. To be honest, I'm getting to the point that I'm a bit over festivals. Likely because I work a number of them.

Oh, CHAI spiced. I read "green tea" lol. I had the green tea IPA and hated it. I'll have to give the chai a try.

I had that one too, it was different but I didn't hate it. This one is a good thick stout with a bit of a spice taste too it. Nutmeg and whatnot
