Beer (and beer pics!)

Beer Bump

At Craft Brewed right now. Just got a flight of:

Turtle Anarchy Ginger Saison
Jackalope Casper the Friendly Gose
Wiseacre Love Light
Tallgrass Ginger Leach Saison
Schlafly Raspberry Hefe
Tallgrass 8-bit Pale Ale
Elgoods Coolship #2 (Lambic)

Got the 2nd Shift Katy and New Belgium Hop Tart too.

A guy from Black Abbey came in to try the Solara Rose too. Apparently people have been complaining that it's flat, but it just had very little carbonation. Not bad tho. Got to sample it for free.

(Edit for 11,000 celebration. Bunch of damn drunks.)

Got a bottle of terrapin's liquid lunch. Anyone tried this?

Ok, I'll answer my own question. Tried this over the weekend. Not crazy about the Liquid Lunch. Lots of raspberry, not much if any peanut butter. If you're a big fan of raspberry in beer then give it a try. Not my thing...

Also tried the Evil Twin Imperial Doughnut Break. Sweet chocolate and coffee flavor with roasted malt, didn't really make me think of glazed doughnut but still pretty good.

I'm not the biggest Jackalope fan, but that Gose is highly drinkable.

I'm at JDubs brewery in Sarasota having one of their "guest beers" from 2 Henry's Brewery near Tampa. I'm having the blueberry, jalapeno Porter. A little sweet & a little spicy.

Having some Six Point 4 Beans. A throwback to their original 3 Beans, with the addition of vanilla. If you are in to robust coffee flavor, this is a must try.

I'm a Pizza Boy fan. Super stoked about the Woodford Reserve BA Sunny Side Up.

That creature comforts is outstanding. Bet it's not long before it makes it's way to Tennessee. I hear Westbrook will start distributing.

Unfortunately, I bet it does take a while. I hear it's very hard to find distribution even in ATL. While I don't keep close tabs on this brewery, unless they are expanding, I bet they are having a difficult time keeping up demand in their existing footprint. Hope I'm wrong though.

I have a sign at my store saying it's coming soon. Not at DET's warehouse yet, but hopefully next week.

Yea, my local store said it should be coming but that the distributor is flaky. They were told very soon but expected it could be a couple of weeks after originally thought.

Went to 312 Pizza Company in Nashville last night for Migration Week. Got to finally try Proprietors BCBS. Also had the plain jane version and Vanilla Rye, still think that VR was the best but I haven't had Rare yet.

I had a family member bring me back a variety pack from Nashville. Did not know about the breweries there now. Haven't had them all yet, but the Fat Bottom IPA was good.

I hit Fat Bottom's taproom for the first time yesterday. That's an awesome space, but they are moving to The Nations next year.
