Beginner's Guide to The VN Recruiting Forum

1. Never compare your high school weightlifting bests to a recruit. It was twenty years ago and your memory sucks.

2. Never share the luxurious finish of your office furniture or the huge Mac that resides on it.

3. Threatening to ignore someone is not a deterrent and will only incite others to quote them out of spite.

Acvol3 hates number 3...tell him for me. :)

One thing you may have overlooked in the 'Player Evaluation' section was the annoying "Legacy?" question.

Just because two guys have the same name doesn't mean they are related. Clarifying this point is critical given our geographic location.

The only exception would be any recruit with the last name of Henry.

Do any of Travis' kids have the last name of Henry?

His kids might actually be stealth legacies.

Eric Berry will meet whomever over the middle. He also pays tuition to free up schollies.

Never use scholarship, no one knows what that is. Must use schollie.

Also, don't use the term "press conference." People definitely prefer "Presser"

I do prefer Presser and a new head coach always has to win his first Presser.

FIFY :hi:

And, while winning the first press conference is great and should occur, it doesn't really mean all that much (see Lane Kiffin).

So while "boom" and "soon" both have a place in the VN vernacular, it is never correct to join the two. Folks should guard against this.

9. Ron Swanson posts a link where he automatically gets 12 likes, because he's the man.

Very prophetic of you.

Since this is a SEC recruiting forum, you have to pass the special required math class, no doubt. The bagman determines the cost.
