Behr's Triggert AF thread

So triggert.

Blackberry jelly, preserves and/or jam.

Datgum almost unpossible to find with seeds and when you finally do find one, it cost pert near $20 to find out if it actually has seeds or not and if it's any good. I already spent close to $50 and ain't fount a good one yet.

Why do u want it with seeds?

blackberry seeds are gritty to me. Me no likey grit in my jelly.

Do the seeds have a flavor???
Jelly no have seeds.

Agree with Mal. Jam and preserves have more flavor and texture because they contain some or all of the fruit including seeds, therefore the texture is far more superior to your seedless boring jelly. Plus it has more fiber. And if nothing else, that's how mom and grandma fixed it and what I growed up with.

I don't like grit in anything, to be clear.

I don't even like grits. Which really causes a hit to my southern authenticity.

I haven't been able to find any blackberries, frozen or fresh lately. Publix had a fruit cup thing that had a few in it along with grapes, cantaloupe etc. But that's it. Canned pie filling would work but that's it, it would just work.

The only time I'm not into including the blackberry seeds is in a cobbler. They seem to grow and harden in that situation. That's prolly just me tho.

McRib loves her some Blackberry cobbler. The few times I have shared it with her are the times i remember dealing with blackberry seeds. Perhaps that experience has created a bias on blackberry seeds in other foods.

Please make me several foods containing blackberries with and without seeds so I can be properly educated. TIA.

I just don't know what to say to someone that doesn't like seeds in they blackberry stuffs.

This triggert thread sposed to help me with my triggertness, but I'm gettin mower triggert.
Would your triggertness be calmed if I told you I know people who only eat the blackberry seeds?

They pick the seeds out and throw away the fruit.

Better?
