Belichick to UNC

I agree. He was a good coach who benefitted from Brady being his QB. Brady was not only a winner, he took less money so they could get better players under the salary cap rules. I'm not sure he can evaluate high school kids talent the same way to assemble championship teams. It would be a disaster IMO.

And Central Florida will probably hire Jamey Chadwell.
I don’t think that would be a good move. He gave Kennesaw State their first ever win as an FBS program. Losing 3 games in Conference USA should never happen to Liberty. They probably have more money than the rest of the CUSA schools combined.

I just can't see Bill Belichick recruiting high school players. He's an all time great coach for sure, but the guy has the personality of a rock.
So did Saban and he was the greatest recruiter of all time. And Saban was a BB protege. Being able to flaunt 6 Super Bowl rings will get attention. Now he may be limited in how long he can last because of his age, but his name alone will get them a lot more blue chippers than they got with Mack for at least a couple of years.

yeah it would definitely be a quick bump, but I think reality would rear its ugly face pretty quickly. plus no way he coaches for much longer.

This would actually be good to see if it does in fact happen for entertainment purposes. Didn't Bill Cowher flirt with NC State years back when they had a coaching vacancy? Or am I crazy?

It's absolutely stunning to me that 1) Belichick would be interested in that job and 2) UNC would be interested in him for that job.
An NFL team not hiring Belichick is even more stunning to me. Who knows, maybe he is bored with the NFL.

It seemed like the narrative/perception of him around the league started to shift after Brady left, and really during that last season he had in New England. He also I think was going to have issues not being both the HC and the GM.

He's the GOAT, but is he the best equipped to lead an NFL team today? His last several draft classes in NE were awful.

The ACC better be on the lookout! Also, I am not a bears fan but you know the bears have brought in some dog$hit coaches since parting ways with Lovie. Belichick really wouldn't be a bad hire at all.

Saban got out because of the new college landscape. I can’t imagine BB jumping into that and enjoying any part of it.
