Belmont vs Duke

Nothing, which is my point. People act like they're some national player because they played a Duke team who hasn't even come close to gelling close and because they nearly beat a bad Tennessee team last year.

Belmont's team from last year managed to lose to UT twice. That is an accomplishment in itself.

I agree that Belmont isn't a national power if that means contending to go to a final four. However I do think with a good draw they could be a sweet 16 team(they got the worst draw last year possible). I don't think that constitutes "national power" talk but very good just the same. Good enough to give more credit than Duke isn't very good or this was their best game and Duke's worst.

Ehh, maybe. I'm not hating on Belmont; I'm just trying to be realistic. They start this every year about how great Belmont is, and I don't think they've ever won an NCAA tournament game. They played a mediocre Wisconsin team and lost easily. They're a well-coached, unathletic, mid-major team that can scare a good team if said team plays poorly.

Fair enough. Well discipline teams have a way of getting teams to play poorly. I am very excited about seeing Byrd coach circles around Pasner on Tuesday(what a mismatch!!!!). Maybe we can revisit this topic then. Great fun tonight guys! Thanks for the conversation. Got to get some sleep, big day tomorrow. Its always great to be a Tennessee Vol but tomorrow is going to be even better!!
