i respectfully submit that you sir are ignorant on this statement....Christians all know the limits of human understanding, which is why we have Faith in God....not the uncontrollable desire to "prove" everything or have said explanations

Right, the yearning to understand is highly overrated. What if Einstein, or Darwin simply said "I give up, God did it" and then cited scripture and verse as proof? It is far more honest to say "I ultimately don't know, but here is what the evidence shows is happening". Not many religious people say that...they say "God created everything, and I know it because I have faith and a magic book that tells me so".

Darwin would be a lot happier and cooler today, if he had

I'm just not sure why natural selection and religion have to be mutually exclusive. Personally, the fact that a higher power can create beings/organisms that can evolve and adapt is far more compelling than having species randomly placed on Earth. Intelligent design, as a theory, does not hold up in scientific circles and (in my opinion) trivializes the overall power of a higher power. Natural selection is brilliant.

I simply believe that the more we learn through science and how intricately woven everything is, the more compelling an argument becomes for the genius of a higher power.

All I am arguing is ID and science are mutually exclusive. And a literal reading of Genesis is mutually exclusive with Evolutionary Theory. Many people, including the ID proponents, consdier Evolutionary Theory and religion exclusive. They have made their choice as to which one makes they think makes more sense.

my belief is anyone who thinks they know if there isn't a god is just as arrogant as those that say there must be a god. there is little evidence either way.

Thank you for saying that! No one KNOWS for sure. Some CHOOSE to believe in the blink of an eye everything just appeared. Some CHOOSE to believe it evolved slowly over many years. To claim a definitve knowledge of 'how it was' is very arrogant & potentially blasphemous...
