Live at Luther College is crazy good. Where the Light Is probably won’t get much respect here, because John just has such a douchey reputation, but damn he kills it on that. Specifically the solo-acoustic Neon, all the trio stuff, and that Intro to I Dont Trust Myself is 🔥 🔥 🔥
He has changed and grown a lot since his younger days of fame. In his defense, if I had been elevated to God-like status by hot, young women when I was like 19, I probably would have been an A-hole, too!!!

Mayer is undoubtedly one of the most under-appreciated guitarists of our generation. His outstanding catalog of his own is nicely complemented by JM3 and now Dead and Company.

Bob Seger’s “Live Bullet” 1976 Cobo Hall Detroit. I believe many of you will change your pick if you listen to this all the way through. Seger’s interaction with the crowd on the encore “Let it Rock” cannot be topped. Rolling Stone stated Seger sounded like a man who was giving his last chance at making it the bigs after 10 years of being in the minors.
No I’m not a member of Seger’s public relations team , just a fan.

I'm a fan of Live. Throwing Copper is the easy answer here, but it's fact. The early albums weren't polished enough and Samadhi and Distance to Here just didn't have enough good songs on them. The latter albums just weren't that good.

Am I doing this right?

I was confused at first, but I see it know.

For sheer impact on career:

Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive
Cheap Trick - Cheap Trick at Budokan

More obscure but wonderful:

Curtis Mayfield - Curtis / Live! You can hear the audience; small venue. When Curtis says goodnight you can hear one guy yelling "Hell no!" over and over
Jerry Joseph and the Jackmorons - Mouthful of Copper. Great power/roots rock set.

One More From/For the Road.

I'd like to thank Alex Cooley and especially the people of Atlanta.

I forgot the song. Whiskey, Baby!

What song is it you want to hear? I heard it that time.

Play it pretty for Atlanta.

Funkeee. Gee Dee that boy is funky.
