Best LIVE Album

Well, they still had some memorable songs. Phish has skills, but damn I get sick of listening to that ****.
I never became acquainted with Phish although I saw the name referenced in print over the years. I guess I shouldn’t criticize Kiss. Everyone has different musical tastes.

I will say that Trey Anastasio is a brilliant musician, and it's great that he has cleaned up. I know Phish isn't for everyone, but they are awesome live. I think a lot of people judge without ever really listening to an album. "Story of the Ghost" is a cool listen.

I started out with Billy Breathes which allowed to listen to their other CD's. Hoist might be my favorite and I also liked Story of the Ghost. I thought Guyute was a fun song.

We got tickets for Oak Mountain and the second night at the Ascend. Thinking about getting 2-day tickets for ATL and doing a mini run. Probably more to do with my age than love of Phish, but I can go to any of their shows in the Southeast and see friends. Same with Panic. One thing I'd encourage younger people to do is to find an "old people's band" that you can halfway stand and go to a few shows so you can experience being among the younger people in the house. My wife and I latched on to the Moody Blues a few years back after going to the Moody Bluegrass show at the Ryman as bluegrass fans who knew very little about the Moodys. Probably went to a dozen of their shows over the next several years. It was a unique perspective and really gave me joy to see people as old as I hope to be some day coming together and getting down.

I can agree with most of the ones listed here. I can't add it as "the best", but Phil Collins Serious Hits Live is one of the best as far as sound quality. And I like it.

I'm sure as they count their millions and play in packed arenas, they are extremely concerned about the opinions of random internet jockeys.
Look at most artists selling millions today. Many are under average from a skills standpoint, especially singing voices. Sales does not correspond to actual talent and yes, I agree they don’t care what you or I think but is still a factual statement.

One that we all already know. I just dont understand why people feel the need to constantly make it a point to say anything. I enjoy their music despite their limited musical skill.

I had made a point later backing off from my original post so I do not understand why you felt the need to respond to my original post so there you go.

You should watch the video of Trey playing with Herbie Hancock. He puts trey in his place.
I’ve seen Phish live several times. It’s a damn tater digging contest lathered in patchouli and dirty Birkenstock’s.

I dont think he's ever released an official live album, but this live Buckethead performance is outstanding! He is IMO one of the best, most inventive guitarists around today.
