I am not sure if Kurt Warner technically walked on with the Rams, but I sure got tired of hearing how he had been bagging groceries a few years before his success.

Sam Bowie was merely an above average college player. It's not like it was the shock of the century that he didn't pan out in the League.

All the KG responses are a little perplexing to me. He's not even the best non-college attender in the game today; much less all time.

Pervis Ellison comes to mind. Bobby Hurley as well...the accident played a large part in his disappointing pro career, but I still don't think he would have come close to duplicating in the NBA what he did at the collegiate level.

That is probably part of it. It just makes no sense to me how you can put a guy like KG ahead of all the points and NBA titles of Kobe Bryant . . . but I still say that the answer is Moses Malone.

I stand corrected then. All I remember about him is playing a few seasons and then getting thrown out of the league for drugs.

I change my vote to anyone drafted in the 1st round for the past 25 years by the Atlanta Hawks. We can call it the Allan Henderson Award.

Kobe won those rings on Shaq's back. He's a ballhog, a rapist, and a snitch. Probably the worst creature to ever set foot on an NBA court not named Isiah Thomas.

While Shaq has won a ring without Kobe in Miami, Kobe can't even make it out of the first round since he pushed Shaq out of L.A.

Koncak was an oaf and was picked way too high, but he at least knew how to use his body to take up space and play a little defense.

Has had no where near the talent around him in Minny, and plus had to play usually against the top 2 seeds in most of those seasons. Let's not gloss over the fact that Minny was penalized draft picks after the whole Joe Smith debacle.

If Boston chokes this season, then comeback and talk to me...
