Best Vacation spot outside of the US you have been to?

Only been to Jamaica and Dominican Republic. Probably just because of where we stayed and where we were located on the island, but Dominican Republic had the most beautiful beaches I think could exist. Jamaica beach at our resort was nice, but it wasn't a water friendly beach. Couldn't go more than a foot or two into the water and you hit coral/rocks/ect.

Food/people in Jamaica was much nicer/friendlier than Dominican Republic.
