Better Call Saul

On Chuck's potential death(if/when it happens)....I've never thought Jimmy would do real harm to someone. Certainly not his brother. My guess is Chuck inadvertently gets caught up in Jimmy's dealings with Mike/Gus (witnesses something he shouldn't or trying to dig up info on what Jimmy is doing) and would be collateral damage.

Not exactly, but kind of like Walter's White's brother in law Hank. Walt didn't kill Hank and didn't wish him any harm at all, but his actions contributed to Hank's death.

They didn't really make it seem like it was a factor, but anyone else notice when the prosecutor speaking with Chuck said it would likely go to trial, his tune did a 180 on Jimmy? Then it went to trying to find a solution that's best for everyone or something like that.

Makes me wonder if the thought of testifying in court and the difficulty he'd go through made him remember Jimmy's statement on dying alone in a hospital.

Yeah he seemed to be all in on the "tough love" before but when he talked to the prosecutor (i.e. Principal Dr. Brown from Vice Principals), he seemed to be more lenient.

Thank you i knew i knew her from somewhere she was awesome in VP.

Did they mess up with Mike granddaughter and her age? She was still a little girl in BB and this is a good 4-5 years before her first appearance in BB and from what I remember the girl that they showed tonight wasn't much younger than the girl in BB.

Yes but I don't think it's that big a deal

This series has really taken off. Gus + Hector in the same room... Yes, please. And Mike? Fugidaboudit! Chuck has been annoying for long enough, and I'm ready to see him meet his fate.

It's not but kind of surprising a guy like Gilligan would make that obvious of a goof considering how detailed oriented he is.

Yeah, we don't get a grasp of how far back this is supposed to be when she's the same age. I she is an infant in BCS they we'd know how long, not, born, etc. This gives the show a little leniency.

Getting way too deep I know. Ha

Also, chuck and his while electricity thing. It's got pretty damn old. Needs to go.

Well I had forgotten the whole series of BB took place over 2 years, and they specifically state Kaylee is 10 in BB, so I guess they didn't goof as much as I thought. But in season 1 she definitely seemed older than 4.

Oh I got ya. I agree it doesn't seem to add up. All things considered I'll let this slide. Ha

I'm really liking that this season has been as much Mike story as it has Jimmy.

Definitely living up to BB legacy.

At this point, I am enjoying BETTER CALL SAUL as much as BREAKING BAD and that's saying a lot.

I expect to see hank this season, thought we were getting him Monday when they were with the police.

What is it that Kim and Jimmy have up their sleeve? Not sure if they havent revealed it or if I just missed it.

I don't think we're supposed to know yet. The way they were acting I was thinking it might have something to do with showing Jimmy had reason to be concerned for chucks mental health with the pictures Mike took but that seems too obvious. I think Kim was trying to confirm there is another copy of the tape. I do think they want the tape to play and build a defense around it somehow.

But Vince Gilligan has always surprised me.

My opinion: Kim and Jimmy specifically put damaged because they wanted Chuck to change it to "destroyed cassette".

If Chuck tries to play the copy in court, then they can throw out that claim.

They changed it to "destroyed item of personal property" right? Was there a mention of the cassette in the signed statement?

They brought it in "back door" style by amending the "cost of damages " to include the cost of a cassette tape.
