Better Call Saul

What is the significance of the black lady's husband disappearing 8 years previous? It seemed like Mike took the job after hearing that.

Mike is wrestling with guilt that his actions led to an innocent person's murder. The good Samaritan who assisted the driver of Hector's ice cream truck was killed by Hector. It's the reason Mike almost assassinated Hector...and he would have succeeded had it not been for that meddling Gus.

Hearing her story at the grief group meeting and how it is so difficult for her not having her hubby' s body...or having any closure by knowing what actually happened reignited the flames of guilt Mike has.

He asked Nacho for something at the end of their meeting. Wondering if it has anything to do with information on the husband.

Man I can't believe there are only 3 episodes left.

I was hoping for maybe a Badger or Skinny Pete cameo on Jimmy's trash pick-up team.

I'm expecting someone to appear at the end of the season finale. Maybe Jesse? Could be badger or skinny too.

Badger or combo (can't remember) was represented by Saul, that's why Jesse and Walt went to him. Jesse knew of a CRIMINAL lawyer haha

That'll obviously be in later seasons though.

True.

Also as they get more into the cartel part of this, I imagine Hank and his partner are going to show up at some point.

Indeed.

And Saul seemed pretty familiar/comfortable with hank and his partner in BB.

Don't forget that old dude that likes to be in prison haha

That was awesome the way even when he was getting screwed with the malpractice insurance increase that he was able to stick it to Chuck.

Anyone else sweat through the Nacho restaurant scene?

Yeah and I actually was like "NO!" when he tossed the bottle back at his coat pocket.

I'm guessing the season is going to end with the official birth of Saul Goodman, Attorney at Law.

I don't know about the law part. He has at least a year for his suspension and only two episodes left. The Saul persona is definitely getting there. I know he was very corrupt in BB but I don't remember him so scammy. Haha
That laser tag place has to be in a few episode does before the series is over.

Yea. I think it'll be a future season too. But that drumstick fall in the music store, IMO, is where slippin Jimmy and James McGill officially became Saul goodman. And his threat to sue the community service guy was textbook Saul.

Well I'm wondering if he gets around the suspension by some obscure technicality and legally changes his name to Saul Goodman. Granted, I'm sure IRL it's not that simple but Jimmy is a pro at finding loopholes.

Also, we're almost to the end of Season 3. Breaking Bad went 5 seasons but also had 63 total episodes, and BCS will only be at 30 after this season.

My bet is BCS gets to at least 60 episodes, so probably at least 3 more seasons after this.

I think a prominent roll of carpet in the store he pitched commercials was the same as in the laser tag place.

The turning point from Jimmy to Saul will be when things fall apart with Kim. We can see cracks in the facade with the handling of Chuck, Saul Goodman productions, him on his back playing guitar, and her taking the oil guys case she was gonna refer out.
