Better SEC

Arkansas/Texas A&M is heading to OT.

LSU/Wichita and Mississippi State/Virginia Tech are a couple of swing games the SEC needs to take tonight.

Arkansas is a joke. I can't believe that either they or LSU will finish in the top half of the SEC West. Arkansas must have went the final 5 minutes of regulation and pretty much the entire OT without a field goal. When Clarke is your top weapon, you're in some serious troubles. A&M wasn't much better, outside of Mittleton and Walkup.

Turgeon schooling Pelphrey at every turn in overtime. What a shock.

I'm still trying to figure out what Pelphrey was thinking at the end of regulation. Real smart relying on Clarke to create his own shot. Apperantly he was trying to rival Pearl's play call from last night.

You're not missing much. Just K-State's point guard woes getting exposed.

See it now. KState is a sorry passing team.

When Boynton, with that flying right elbow and rifle trajectory is making them on you, it's curtains.

I talked to five or six national writers and a similar number of NBA scouts last week in Pittsburgh. They were nearly unanimous in their answer to my inquiry about who the most overrated team in the country is: Kansas State.

UNC is pushing them for overrated outfit. No D, no PG and soft.

KState is a Memphis shooting outfit without the ballplayers.

Martin has constructed a team in the image of Huggs' UC bunches, minus a Van Exel or Logan to make shots and a Fortson to score in the post. They have to maul you defensively and on the boards to have a chance.

And they can't maul you like a Pitt can.

Texas isn't much better. That game today looked like an AAU all star game. Zero intensity and defense. It was the college basketball equivalent of a soccer "friendly."

Agreed, but TX didn't get the crazy love like UNC did.

Dominique Sutton's transfer hurt K State more than most expected, too. He was a solid wing guy who did what was asked of him.
