Better SEC

With TN last two losses and the other teams play, the conference is obviously better this year. As usual, MHF is right on target.

Correction....3 straight losses.

It's a good thing SEC play is about to start, these teams have to be getting tired of losing to the vaunted Horizon, Sun Belt, A-10, CUSA, MVC, and Atlantic Sun.

My calculations may be off slightly, but I think it is now impossible for the SEC to even match the low end of MHF's prediction.

Now the SEC will just have to beat up on each other. It's going to suck playing those back to backs against Auburn and Alabama.

With a little over 3 minutes left, Mississippi State has been outscored 36-9 in the second half by Washington State.

I damn near died today from lack of breathing when I was watching Brandon Knight holding his knee in agony on the floor.

South Carolina trails Furman at half and both Mississippi schools were not impressive. I wouldn't be surprised if North Texas defeated LSU later tonight, either.

A 16-point loss to a SoCon team...if the OP predicted us to be improved, I would like some of what he is drinking because obviously it's some top-notch stuff.

North Texas is good. That's not much of a surprise.

Yes they are. Johnny jones has built a nice program there. They should win the Sun Belt this year. Still, getting run out of your own gym by a Sun Belt team is sad. Down 24 right now.

They are good, but they shouldn't be the favorite, if Ken McDonald could coach worth a damn. He is squandering some above average Sun Belt talent here at WKU.

YEa, I went to the WKU game here in Memphis a few weeks ago. They looked athletic and seemed to have some decent talent but just looked out of sync and really werent that much competition to us. this was in the middle of our epic near squandries with Arkansas State and Austin Peay

Mississippi State is apparently more interested in fighting each other than their opponents. Getting Renardo Sidney has really turned out to be a great deal for them.

Blashpemy. Its a well known fact Sidney is going to lead them deep in the tourney. Or was...

The way its looking, whichever of us wins the SEC will get a low two or 3 seed, unless they completely run the table.

The odd thing is that SEC teams have won some big OOC games, but then turned around and lost games they have no business losing. The question is, are the big wins the upsets or are the losses the upsets?
