Both are guilty of making it a political football but those are the days we live in. Kudos to Trump for operation warp speed. He didn’t create the vaccine at all, but he successfully removed the barriers that allowed it to be created by those who could in record time. All Biden has to do is not f$&@ up the win that he was given on a silver platter to get the vaccine deployed. But he continued to get baited into partisan rhetoric on this. Biden’s bar for success on what he had to do is lower. And he’s gonna blow it.

The vaccine has been free and widely available for months, and still is. Deployment of the vaccine has not been an issue at all during this admin.

Yes it has. It isn’t deployed until it’s in arms. And all he has to do is be the uniter he campaigned on. Actually be that reach across the aisle guy he claimed to be and get all of DC united on the message. Instead he acts like grandpa Simpson when somebody is reluctant to take a vaccine that was developed in record time to address an illness with a 98% survival rate.

Oh good grief. Is he supposed to force people to get it, and other politicians/pundits to support it when they have gone out of their way to oppose it? What happened to all of the personal choice stuff I've been hearing for months? Why the sudden turnaround on this? And are we just going to ignore every other politician/pundit that did not join in this new Federalized campaign you've dreamed up to get on the same page? Or is this just a new blame Biden thing?

The vaccines have been widely available. The Biden Admin has gone out of their way to suggest that folks get vaccinated. If folks still won't get vaccinated, it ain't on anyone but themselves for refusing to do so.

The rest of the politicians/pundits/local officials/etc. that have railed combatively against the vaccination for months don't get any blame in this I guess? Seems like you are going out of your way to blame Biden for something the majority of the folks that refuse vaccination didn't want to hear for months, regardless of how it was presented to them. Biden never stood a chance with them, regardless how "unifying" he attempted to be. The answer was always going to be a flat out "no". And it will still be a flat out no moving forward, because it is coming from Biden and the Feds.

You are usually more level headed than this, I'm surprised by the sudden change.

Biden is POTUS. This was his chance to rise above it. So tit for tat is good? Ok.
