My opinion, they do not want him to step down because then the world gets 6 months to see Kamala in action…they won’t be able to hide her anymore. Kamala is being pushed to be the nominee, Biden is giving her his support…why not let the voters see exactly what they’ll be voting for in November? (I mean, beyond a black female?)I'd prefer he step down, too. Just deny the MAGA the foil.
Why don't you Repubs see that Trump is a perpetual liar, abandons his friends in time of adversity to save his azz, breaks promise after promise, denies Jesus - then claims to be a Christian (was never baptized), adores dictators like Hitler, Putin, and kim Kim Jong-un and worse? Why didn’t those Dems see what the rest of the world saw during the primaries? (And even well before the primaries?)
It’s not complicated at all. I say, let him resign now, let’s let Kamala be the figure head ‘running’ the country. I am positive the Dem base want to know exactly what they’re voting for, yes? That doesn't force him to actually run. He could always have simply declined the nomination. As he is now.
Quit trying to overcomplicate this.
Biden’s circumstances didn’t drastically change since the primaries. He’s been greatly declining for a few years. Anyone with eyes and ears knew it. It has been sad watching him being marched out like that in the condition he’s been obviously in. I do not like the man, but I have empathy for what was being done to him via Jill and the puppet masters behind the scenes.Yes.
What you omit is that circumstances changed after the primaries. Biden is clearly in decline and could not project the vitality needed to run or be POTUS for 4 more years.
I’m at the point where I think that’s true, Trump or not. That’s their strategy at this point… Trump makes it easier for them at times. But, I think 40% of the country is gone no matter what. It’s been a gradual dumbing down of this country for the past 50 years, accelerating in the past 25 years.Sure. That's the problem with going chips in on Trump. 40% of the country, no matter what, won't vote for him. Ever.
