I’d like to see the conference championship games as the first round of the playoffs.

Interesting,then it would be a 10 team playoff. What would you do with the remaining 5 teams, give one a bye ? I guess Independents like Notre Dame would have to join a conference ?

I’ve not worked out all the details as it’s never gonna happen. But yes there would have to be a bye and Notre Dame would have to join big boy football. The positive from this system is better non conference regular season games. If you lose to Clemson in the regular season it’s not a season killer. You make your championship game and your in. it also does away with teams losing the championship game and still getting in. And finally we can quit arguing about who should get in. It’s decided on the field and not by some stupid ass selection committee.
