Listening to the "Full Ride" (ESPNU), Kevin Warren (their commy) is taking it on the chin, cods, and everywhere else. Supposedly, there was not a "vote" to cancel the season. He's allowing his son to play this season (Miss. St.), and from what I understand, all teams are still practicing a certain number of hours each week. So, they're doing everything teams are doing right now in the SEC except playing on Saturdays. Fans, coaches, players, and parents are demanding to know the medical data that led to the decision. Sounds like they're asking for complete transparency..........

I read that there were several medical professionals tied to teams questioning the reasoning and data used for the cancelation

I hope the public is finally waking up to this nonsense. Players are at the age where they will be over the sickness and playing in 2 to 3 weeks. They are safer quarantined in the dorm than if at home and spreading it to more vulnerable people. I would hope common sense would prevail, but common sense gets lots in media hype and election manipulation. It's time to wake up people.

Just remember....this isn’t political.

It’s science
My favorite part of this is canceling ten 3 to 4 hour games but still conducting 20 hours of practice per week. The virus must be able to tell the difference between practice and games will only infect players/damage hearts during games.

It can tell the difference between protesting and going to the bar....

Sort of skeptical of this report but if OSU and 5 other schools started playing games, what realistically would the conference do to them?

Report: Ohio State still working to create new 10-game schedule

In this proposed format, each team would play the other five Big Ten teams who are participating twice -- once at home and once on the road, beginning on either Sept. 26 or Oct. 3. The season would conclude by mid-December and there would no Big Ten title game in Indianapolis.

As of Tuesday night, the source claimed that Penn State President Eric Barron, Nebraska President Walter “Ted” Carter and Iowa President Bruce Harreld are on board with the new plan. The group hopes to convince two other universities, notably the University of Wisconsin and the University of Michigan, to join them.

“They really need to flip Wisconsin and Michigan to get to six schools and make this thing work,” the source said. “And they have only so much time to do it. They need to make progress and get it done in the next seven to 10 days.”

The fact his son is playing at Miss St is the most damning. How can he say it’s fine for his son but not other students? Especially when the state of Miss currently is worse than any B1G state in COVID rates
This is par for the course for "the chosen ones who rule us". Do as we say and not as we do. We need to stop being sheep and demand accountability from these Bozos. Reference the Cade Mays fiasco.

While the optics are bad, his son is an adult and free to decide to play or not on his own.

It's becoming clear what this is all about.

I also find it interesting that most states that voted "blue" are without college football due to the plandemic... (ahem) pandemic. While most states that voted "red" are going to have football. Hummm.....

Or that Michigan State is allowing intramural athletics to take place as usual, but no CFB games.

Apparently, grabbing one's flag in flag football does not spread the virus. Gotta get Dr. Fauci and the CDC on this one.

It looks like the Gov of Michigan is going to put they kybosh on football in that state. What a shame.
