Big 12 Championship #3 TCU vs #10 Kansas St

You’re the only one using the world crippled.

Here’s your own words:
“Hey I can’t even walk off the field……..but I can run around on the field for a td, and I can throw passes.”

If that’s not implying that he oversold it then I don’t know what you’re getting at.

if you didn’t hear announcers “media” folks making more out of that than what it was OK.

I wasn’t saying really anyone about the the player…….just how the announcers were making a “heisman” moment out of him simply being tired.

Oh…….if you “can’t get off the field” then at that moment you may be described as crippled……one who can’t walk on their own.

However…….he got off the field ON HIS OWN. Just announcers making stuff up again to bolster something that isn’t there.

You can keep trying that’s fine.

I have ACTUALLY been there. I was crippled for years. I literally couldn’t walk on my own.

They guy could and DID……that’s my point!!!

He was simply tired.

TCU's luck ran out. If they do get it, there is a good chance they get hammered in the first game.
Problem the committee will have is in the seeding. Do they jump OSU over TCU? If UGA and UM both win, that sets up yet another Mich/OSU game in the semis. TCU losing yet jumping up in the polls to a 3 seed to set up UGA/OSU and Mich/TCU seems wrong. I'm sure they might see something tonight that allows them to flip UGA and Michigan in the standings so they could keep TCU at 4 and OSU jumps to #3.

All I know is that they damned well better not drop TCU from the playoffs and put bama in. That would be criminal. I really want to see bama vs K State in the sugar. You'd have to think bama wouldn't be into that one while KSU would be salivating. I think they'd have a great shot at taking bama down.

The committee just needs to rank the teams as they are - if UM and OSU play in the semis - they play in the semis. But I agree this is a nightmare for them and it could get worse is UM were to lose.

I mean I don’t think they’re against rematches despite avoiding them in the past. But I hope y’all are right. Ohio State has a better shot at UGA than TCU.
I don’t have an issue with it. I think they should pick the four best teams and seed them accordingly. If that means that Ohio State and Michigan have to play again in the first round, then so be it.

TCUs resume is way better than Ohio States. So they should be seeded 3. But I just know bias is a thing. Hence why Bama is ranked ahead of us for zero reason other than “lol Bama”

I don’t like the idea of teams that did not make their conference championship games jumping teams in the rankings that lose their conference championship games. It’s almost like you are punishing teams for playing that extra game; in a lot of ways, you are better off sitting at home during conference championship week like Ohio State did. They are almost definitely going to jump USC and maybe even TCU. That just doesn’t make much sense to me.

A) they didn’t use crippled… you did
B) you keep taking their words in the literal sense, as if that’s what they meant
C) sorry about your situation but no need to take their obvious analogous rhetoric personally and act like announcers are insulting you by comparing an exhausted player and someone paralyzed

A. I know I said that…….heck I said it

B. Media always tries to make “more” out of something than it is (to me) “he can’t walk of the field on his own”…….he actually did

C. Has nothing to do with me. Has everything to do with them trying to “push” something. It’s everywhere and in everything. His drive alone “could” have been used to make the Heisman case……….not him being tired. Everyone is really tired out there.

those guys literally made stuff up to make their point. He “could” get off the field on his on.

Ok dude. Take it to the literal n’th degree and not at face value as hype.

I know it’s hype…….it’s made up hype though……that’s my entire point.

Heck the drive was amazing…….use that!!

Why make up crap that isn’t even true?

It happens all the time. My take is that if a team is really the one of the top 4 teams, they should have no problem winning their conference championship game. If they can't beat a team in their own conference, they are no better than the team that did not play in that game. The championship game is where the top teams should solidify their ranking and make a statement to move up to get a better ranking.

Just showed the “Allstate Playoff Predictor” on ABC. Shows TCU still in at a 92% chance and #3 seed. Ohio State at #4 at 82%. Bama #5 at 20%. Don’t know how it’s calculated but the deal looks set to me.

That poll is not the committee.

TCU should drop for losing - I don't know what they do but TCU lost and they should drop even if it is just 1.

So would you take TCU out of the top 4 or leave them in?

Ohio State should go up 2 spots for NOT playing? That's the problem. A team that didn't play in its conference championship gets to jump 2 spots because a team that did lost?

That makes it better to NOT play than play. Does that seem right?
