Big East Championship UL vs. Syracuse

That's one of the benefits of the new, hi-tech floors. They absorb falls and diffuse impact like a wrestling ring. Having been on the floor at the Garden, I'm not that shocked he's fine.
The scary thing is his full weight falling on his shoulders and head. That could cause some serious injuries even if it happened on the sand at the beach.

I actually thought the same thing.

And Syracuse is tired

Didn't think of grimace, but I did mention to my wife that he has been eating a bit.

Tired legs matter, but Louisville is more athletic and more talented.

I do, but im also a Rick Pitino fan. Plus I still say this is one hell of a team UL has.

A Syracuse win probably gives Memphis a #1 seed . Which on the other hand will probably send them out west .

Lanardi ( spelling ) has them as a 1 now.

I called him the purple McD's guy.

As for the game, Syracuse is just getting sloppy. That's mental fatigue. And with every missed shot and stolen pass, it will just get worse

Memphis will be fine. I just think UL is a better team than cuse and that's why I picked them.

I got the grimace ref.

They took way too many threes on what they knew were tired legs. They needed it to win all of those games, but that reliance is death when winning streaks are necessary and defenses get better as you win.

yeah, I was just pointing out that until hat called him Grimace, I didn't remember the actual name.

The threes were there because they didn't have the desire to try to take it to the hole. Sloppy passes, lazy defense was their doom. The first half they were running and gunning and all seemed right. Louisville tightened up and Syracuse had nothing to fight it.

Props to them and Boeheim knows what he's doing. He'll have them even stronger by Thursday. Louisville will be a tough out for anybody in the country though and I can't imagine a draw where I don't put them in Detroit.

I love m2m d, but I'd One almost every team in college ball. Boeheim is onto something. Teach zone and learn to rebound from it.

the zone works, but Louisville was able to consistently sneak into the corners and just under the basket. I'm sure you were like me and could even watch them sliding over to get wide open easy looks.

But this Syracuse squad just isn't long or athletic enough to do it well.

I think they proved that with fresh legs they are quick enough to mask their other problems. Wherever the panel had Syracuse seeded this morning, they're still there unless they actually went up with other losses.
