There are lots of people who spend time in the woods that don't have any idea what they are looking at. Flora, fauna, or otherwise. The Kentucky guy above seems like a man desperate to find a bigfoot, so much so that his own father is his first eye witness on the amateur video he sells.
I would believe Kentucky man about as far as I could throw him.
Here in lies the rub - this is someone who goes in the woods often - knows what a bear looks like - knows what a standing bear looks like - but like many of the pictures involved in this research - what we have here is commonly referred to as a blob squatch. I probably see two or three a day much better than this one - but while I can't tell you that what he is looking at here is a forest person - I can't tell you that it isn't either. I saw a much more definitive example today - and the camera crew and survivor man -someone with a show looking for sasquatch - didn't see anything, but a viewer saw something in the background in the trees.
I would love to see a "forest person"/Bigfoot or whatever and try to be open minded.... but what I saw in the video looked like a bear to me
It's really tough to get a read off a picture or video off of the internet - this would be one example where I honestly couldn't say one way or another - so then you have to analyze everything else particularly about the witness and is he viewing things through Squatch colored glasses. I honestly have seen just as many people weigh too heavily - this can't be a squalch as this has to be a squalch. An upcoming episode of survivor man - Les Stroud looking for Bigfoot - will be looking in East Tennessee if anyone is interested.

Have you seen a Sasquatch in person or is all of your sightings and beliefs based on hearsay? Honest question.
Honest answer -no I have never seen a bigfoot. But, as Paul Harvey liked to say - you need to hear the rest of the story.
I am going to need everyones help - including the ney sayers, so I will try to air some information and share some thoughts. Do with it what you may.
Personal experience - number of times in the woods in the past 30 years - 5 to 8. I have traveled to known hotspots most of those times.
First trip - overnight -- tree knocks, person with me keep hearing something, came home with two ticks.
Second trip - 3 hour dusk trip -- dead silence in the woods, a dead zone no insect noises, a feeling of strange inner peace, something ate or ran of with the apple I dropped 30 minutes prior.
Third trip - overnight - tree knocks - something threw a stone in the fireplace, something broke a tree, something got into some food.
Fourth trip - dusk trip - something made bird noises and paralleled / escorted us out the last half mile out of the park.
Fifth trip - dusk till 12 - owl calls that didn't sound quite right, electronics malfunction, 4 sets of prints and trackways of something big and heavy. 18 - 20 inch prints, very wide, prints didn't reflect someone or someone's ancestors that wore shoes, stride twice normal stride length, steps one in front of the other, very deep imprints.
Around 11:30, heavy deep breathing above and behind me for 5 minutes, very steady, very deep - something should have been right behind me - but I couldn't see anything and nothing showed up on the thermal imager I was using. When i say close behind me - from the sound it should have been 3 or 4 feet behind me tops. 2 days later watermelon gone, berries gone, sandwiches gone, apples gone, bananas gone, apple cores gone, banana peels gone, toy mouse gone, containers nicely stacked on top of each other.
I have probably gone out 3 other times and nothing, which is quite honestly what I expect every time I go out. I am not overly comfortable going out alone - and I am not sure i would recommend that to anyone either.
If time permits, I will give you some additional info.
First trip: Trees groan and snap all on their own. Some crows make a knocking sound, as do turkeys and of course the mighty woodpecker.
Second trip: The woods can be very peaceful and still...a squirrel or chipmunk thanks you for the apple.
Third trip: How big was the stone? How many people were with you? Trees break. If you leave food in a non bear proof setup, it will be gone.
Fourth trip: It was a bird.
Fifth trip: Are you an expert on owls? Not trying to be a smartass even though it probably comes off that way. My daughter can call the things to her imitating them. Owls don't always sound the same. Electronics screw up all on their own. Prints? Were you alone or with other bigfoot researchers? Calling prank here, but have any pics? As for the breathing, either you spooked yourself or bigfoot is some kind of dimensional shifting haint. As for food, something ate your food (again you can't leave food unguarded in the woods and not have it eaten) and I would bet some other adventurer cleaned up your mess and stacked your gear.
You believe and you want to believe and that is fine but none of that is evidence of much. I would want more for 30 years of research. I spend more time than that in the woods every year. I have had the almost daydream calm feeling come over me, the hair on the back of my neck stand up, sounds I can't explain, but then again I am not in my element. All of your senses are heightened when you are out of your routine.
When you're inexperienced and in the woods you will hear whatever you want to hear. You'd be amazed at the number of trophy bucks I've heard that magically shape-shifted into a squirrel, fox, chipmunk, etc
So true. I was in a tree stand once and a dead tree fell about 50 yards behind me. Sounded like the woods were falling down, scared the crap out of me when it happened. I can only imagine what a squatcher would have claimed they heard/saw.
