What do you think in your opinion is the biggest game of the football season for the Vols? For me personally it’s always the Bama game. Can you imagine if we beat them again down in Tuscaloosa this season? That would automatically make the season a huge success and might send the little midget Saban into retirement lol

IMO beating UF 2 years in a row with a win in Gainesville is a program shifting accomplishment given our history with the lizards. Bama and UGA are always big, but I don't think we are quite at their level yet. One win against Bama in the last 16 years doesn't prove much other than our trajectory is heading in the right direction.

All that said, the UGA game in Knoxville is going to be an absolute madhouse this year.

Since 2001
We won there in 2003 actually we won two straight against them in 2003 and 2004 before they hired Urban and then they won 11 in a row from 2005-2015. Since 2000 we have only beaten them 5 times so winning down there this season and beating them back to back years would be huge for the program.

There is only one answer to this - and to me, anything else is just someone who doesn’t take their Voldom seriously enough.
If you didn’t answer Bama, then “son, we better sit down and have a talk.”
I live just across the state line from
Bama for me it’s always Bama that’s the game we gotta win more than any other one. I hate Bama more than any other team. Love to see some more Roll tears Roll this season when we play them and hopefully beat them.

Good thread. I say Bama. Why? Well, I live in Alabama, so there's that. You KNOW we really didn't win last year, it was the refs. Would love to see them bitchin about the refs yet again. There is a certain arrogance here, and I'm sure the folks living in Georgia feel some of that now, but it hasn't been sustained at the same level for the same number of years that it has here in Alabama. It's relatively new over there to the East of me. Plus, I like to see Saban throwing a tantrum on the sidelines, that brings me joy.

Florida- I can't believe I'm saying this, but that game should be like a 95% slam dunk win. Treat them like Vanderbilt in 2023 and focus on the games that matter. Bama, Georgia and South Carolina (need some retribution from the Columbia fiasco). I'm going with Bama as the team to beat.
