I think we surprise people and take a total of 36. We had 4 we let out of their NLI last year that we should get to add to this class. That makes 29. Then I am sure we will have 7 or more transfer out so we can add 7 more from the transfer portal. That makes a total of 36. If this is wrong, please explain.

Doesn’t the portal transfers still count toward the 25(or whatever number we can sign this year)?

The only thing that I’m aware of changing is the 1 year sit rule.

I think this is the closest based on who we’re in on. It will change when coaches start getting fired. Staff really needs to load up on CBs or a spot we have depth at will quickly become an issue. LB & DE are going to be a huge concern. This needs to be a 3 HS/ 1Transfer class at both LB & DE. Josephs and Pearce could really help this class. It looks like Bumphus is redshirting to get that 5th year for when Butler is gone. I have concerns about the OT prospects in this class but we’ll see what the staff can do with them.

Hope we get M’ba and his teammate Amipeleasi Langi. Monsters. Would be exciting having two dudes 6’5, 315+ on the DL

Don’t really care for Zane Durant or D’andre Martin (Assuming you were talking about them), but whoever coach wants I’ll get on board with it.

I was. I figured one of them at least will be here because both of the HCs at the schools their committed to won’t be there come signing day

Need 1 more OL . 5 every year with 1 being a center and then in 4 years from now we might finally have a good OL.

Do we think these position players will just fall out of the sky to us?

We will not get the top 13 players in TN this year. Do we think the players in surrounding states will all come to us? Hardly.

Our only hope is the transfer portal for 2022. And as long as we can't keep the best players in Tennessee here at home, we haven't a chance in the SEC.

Good to hear regarding Bumphus returning next year possibly.

I'm hoping we get Kurott Garland, BEason and DBailey into the rotation these last several games - we could use the depth.

Biggest actual needs are defense and OL. Both lines need rotational depth. The defense, with as much time as they spend on the field, desperately needs that rotational depth. And we have to address QB in the transfer portal. We need an experienced back up.

The most important thing is as few "misses" as possible. We need kids that can be coached and can contribute. So it's important our coaches are as accurate as possible on their evaluations.

Let's just go get some good athletes, freshies, JUCOs, transfers. You can occasionally fill gaps by just being better at 4 or 5 other positions plus our coaching staff has me completely sold based on the on the field product, we are missing like 20ish scholarship players from our roster.
