Biggest Rival

I have heard 3 different takes on this. So who do you guys think is our biggest rival?

alabama. florida is second. georgia is growing but i still think it is an easy pick for third.

Alabama is the constant, historic rival obviously... but I grew up and started watching college football in a time when UT OWNED 'Bama, so it didn't really mean that much to me, just another W. Florida was the game I looked forward to the most and wanted the Vols to win... obviously because they didn't do it very often in the Spurrier Era in Gainesville.

But with Spurrier gone, losing to the Tide a couple of times in the last few years, and learning more and more about the history of the programs, I can say personally that I'm starting to hate them more.

only because of the reorganization of the SEC into east and west its either Georgia or Florida. Since Richt came into the league, year end year out, the team to beat in the SEC east is Georgia.

There's definitely a generation gap on this question. I think the cutoff age is somewhere between 20-25 for people who probably view Florida as a bigger rival than Alabama.

Yep. If you didn't shed a tear in 95 when the streak ended (the one I remember) then you may not really appreciate the importance. Not a bad thing, just different.

flordia has surpassed bama as the buggest rival. It's a more important game and bama has sucked most of the time the past 10 years or so.

florida's biggest rival i belive is florida state, but that isn't as important as the game with tennessee or georgia.
