Well, I guess I am the exception that proves this rule. I lived throught the Bama dominance years. I sat through the 9-6 ugly loss in '90 and I was overjoyed when we finally ended the streak. There's definitely a generation gap on this question. I think the cutoff age is somewhere between 20-25 for people who probably view Florida as a bigger rival than Alabama.
another thing to consider about Florida....Spurrier vs. Fulmer was a big part of that rivalry...we all hated Spurrier....i found i didn't have the same kind of hatred for them when zook was there, still hated them, but it was different...same with meyer....
But with bama...they were ALWAYS good no matter who was coaching, and they ALWAYS were in the mix for SEC titles and they ALWAYS rested thier lorals on all the NC's they one....they were ALWAYS a thorn in our side...UF was a blip on the radar screen compared to Bama....jmo. Bryant, Perkins, Curry, Stallings all beat us there...it wasn't necessarily one coach that stuck in our side, it was merely the site of those God awful crimson helments and that big fat elephant that got the blood boiling.

Dead on
Some historical data:
Record against the teams (might be dated a year or two):
Vs. Bama (37-44-7)
Vs. Florida (19-16)
Vs. GA (18-15)
Bama is the only one that has beaten us more than we have beaten them. (Auburn also has an edge of 21-25).
89 games against Bama compared to 35 against UF and 33 against UGA.
SEC Champs.
Bama has the most and UT is second.
The series has been characterized by streaks for both teams. Bama won the first 8 to 10 and since then it's been even. Some of us remember the 2 big Bama streaks which ended in 1982 and 1995.
Overtime, Bama is clearly UT's biggest rival.
