Bilas has pretty much nailed this entire fiasco for the past few months!

Kif had things running kind of like a circus and many could see through his facade... Hamilton should have kept him under control..

was he supposed to put a tracking device on him? All reports say the compliance dept at UT was working overtime to let Kiffin know what was right/wrong but he did his own thing anyway. It's actually what will probably save football from major penalties

I think it comes back to the question of what is important in your AD. Someone with an athletic background who understands coaching, or someone with a business background who understand finance, budgets, and raising money. It's hard to find both.

So here is the question. If your 9 to 5 job required you to be good at both, would you still be employed 5 years later? In my opinion one is just as important as the other. He failed in my opinion.

Hamilton should have fired him or put him on probation if Kif did know right from wrong and he did his own thing anyway.... Hamilton never stood up to the guy.. which is what a boss should do when his employee is acting a fool

Now I am quoting myself which may make me officially insane...

anyways...

As a boss Hamilton should have talked to Pearl before the original NCAA investigation into the BBQ and other infractions... If they discuss the situation and have some foresight to tell the truth about the whole thing we never have any of these discussions....

Pearl lied directly to the NCAA so you think he had an issue with lying to Hamilton? He also went on tv, cried and apologized, committed another violation and didn't tell UT compliance.
