Umm, you’re the OP. But it’s my thread and I’ll do what I want.

Fwiw, the shoes I bought are not everyday shoes. And would not recommend using them for walking. My hope is they work and can be used for speed work and faster runs

I plan to get back into trail running. The injury was during a trail race. Haven’t felt comfortable enough yet to get back to it.

I used to prefer trail running. I would run First Landing State Park in Va Beach weekly and had Pleasure House Point Nature Area right beside my house there that was full of trails. Ran all sorts of trails at Bragg. But I want to get comfortable running five miles with hills first.
