One more sport whoring itself out for the owners, I guess.

Really? Ads on the unis? So they’ll look like human NASCAR cars?

NBA and NHL have ads, as do soccer. They're small. I told myself I'd hate it on the other stuff (just like i told myself I'd hate seeing the Nike swoosh on MLB unis), but they don't really ever end up bothering me.

On second thought, I may not get over this one.

I don't think I like 12 teams in the playoffs. I hate advertisement decals on the unis.

And the NL adopting the DH, which I knew was inevitable, is something that I have always said would be when I would stop caring about MLB. I will always follow the Cardinals, I am as much of a fan of them as I am the Vols, but beyond that, I will be less interested I think.

It’s just that all three are gimmicky. And I realize that everything else is too, pretty much, but that just makes it worse.

I’m probably irked most by the DH thing. I’ve seen a few damn good pitchers-hitters, and I always enjoyed watching the other team sweat when they were up to bat.

I enjoy the managing of bottom of the lineups in the NL. But there's nothing wrong with having to figure out getting hitters out. I've actually changed my mind and I'm now against the shift

Oh, I know they will be small, and it doesn’t bother me in other sports. I just hoped baseball would avoid it.

I hate the DH rule. Braves pitchers "Chicks Dig the Long Ball" commercials were awesome.

I just always felt like it gave the NL a slight advantage when playing interleague in the NL ballparks.

They were doing 7 inning DHs to make up missed games (whether Covid or weather related) the past two seasons. This article says nine inning DHs. Not sure

I mean I’ll like not having to watch Boston-NYY seventy five times a year on TV, but I love that there’s a good chance the two World Series teams barely know each other, if at all

I like the pitch clocks but the ball/strike zone is BS.

I've changed my mind on the shift. The average pitch is over 4 mph faster today than it was in 1992. Hard to hit anything inside wherever you want like that. And unbelievably to go to the outside and get anything.

they claim that larger bases will decrease injuries and up stolen bases. Not sure it was a problem before.

I'm a fan of pitch clocks in theory, but the minors have shown they don't actually speed up the game.

I hate inter league play almost as much as the DH, so this one pissed me off.

They need to install me as commish today.

I hate it too, but doesn't mean it should be illegal IMO.
