Means we have the best coach in the SEC, though Gillespie may contend with Pearl for that title, as may Andy Kennedy in a few years.

It means Pearl now gets a chance to capitalize on the same opportunity that Haytsacks squandered earlier this decade.
You know, the opening kick off is still a long way off for you're blood pressure to be shooting up already.:stop:

I wonder how this affects Florida's incoming recruits. I know they have some really good ones coming in. I assume it will depend a lot on who the new coach is, but there may be some fallout from all this (e.g., FL recruits defecting to other SEC schools, Calipari to FL and Memphis recruits defecting, etc.).

Thoughts?

In the words of Jerry Seinfeld:

"That's a shame."

Yeah, Cal wouldn't give up a top 3 team to go to a very young Florida team.

Especially the schedule he has every year, and the talent he gets.

If this was football, then the state of Florida is the place to be for talent, but in BBall he's in good shape where he is at.

im almost sure that atleast one of FLa's recruits will back out of their commitment and go elsewhere, and maybe a player or two may transfer
