im almost sure that atleast one of FLa's recruits will back out of their commitment and go elsewhere, and maybe a player or two may transfer

the only recruit that might back out is Jai Lucas. however, none of the recruits will be granted their release until they meet with the new Gators head coach

Florida is a much hotter basketball school than Memphis right now, but I doubt he leaves anyway.
What exactly does hot mean? A team that won a NC and lost all their players or a team that went to the elite 8 and returns all their players and is adding top 5 new talent?

i wouldnt be surprised to see UT and Memphis as the number one and number two teams in the nation when they meet next season

Yeah I don't see Tennessee and Memphis being 1 or 2 but both may be in the top 5 and maybe later this season they be 1 and 2.

Only if they're into wasting their time on Quixotic quests. They need to hire Anthony Grant and be done with it.

Was talking with a Gator fan last night who made the same comment regarding Grant. His vocabulary didn't include words like Quixotic though.

There is an article on Rivals home page paid subscription "Jai Lucas reacts to Donovan leaving"-

Rivals also says that insiders say the job goes to the VCU coach and that Donovan's main assistant is leaving with him.

CSTV speculates that Lucas and another recruit are shakey but sounds like speculation

Read it was a 5 year 27.5 million (5.5 per year)contract.Reminds of Spurrier making 5 million a year a few years back.

Well if they play in February then there's a good chance they both will be 1 and 2. I was thinking they played earlier than that, oops.

Lucas indicated in an interview when he signed that Gillispie was a reason that he did not choose UK. He said, "One reason I didn't choose Kentucky is because...Losing Coach Smith hurt me, but I got to know Coach Gillispie. I got to know him really well." So, I don't see him going to UK.
