This is a load of crap. The guy is a perpetual campaigner. Pretending that his schedule is too tight is absolutely ridiculous. he vacations, golfs, plays basketball, fundraises, etc.

The state of Hawaii doesn't issue a copy of your birth certificate, they issue that "certificate of birth" or whatever document that has been seen and is shown on factcheck.org. For some reason, Hawaii holds on to everyone's birth certificate like it was gold.

It isn't just Obama's.

Not sure if you can get a copy of the long form one, or not. I would assume that you can. The version they give you if you call and order one to go get a new driver's license or passport has been rejected by the birthers.

An interesting question is, why?

To get that, you have to show up in Hawaii's system as having been born there. So unless someone went in and put him into the system ... I mean, really, how likely is that?

And if Obama ordered and obtained a copy of the long form, that would precisely feed the irrational claim of conspiracy because the birthers would then demand to see the original. And if he produced that, it would feed the conspiracy claims even more because they'd start questioning the seal, the signatures, etc.

It is simply not possible for Obama to satisfy the birthers because every answer to their questions is deflected with more questions and false claims of conspiracy.

That's why there is no effort to go get copies or even produce the original -- it would make no difference.

I've said the same thing before, in Arabic. I am not a Muslim. I can say Christ is the Son of God and the Messiah, as well.

Anyone with even the slightest degree of understanding regarding Islam knows that when a Muslim states that they are a Christian (as Obama has done) they make themselves an apostate.

Look, it says what it says. It is what the state OFFICIALLY sends you to OFFICIALLY say that you were born in Hawaii on such and such date.

That most people don't need that information doesn't change what it says.

i'm saying that you don't need your place of birth verified.

it doesn't officially say he was born in hawaii. we've been through this before as you know.
