Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, and the Future of Global Finance

Ethereum and ethereum classic are doing nicely for McRib.

I was 33% BTC and 33% ETH but I rebalanced to more ETH and then rebalanced again, and I had good timing, although I wish I had done it a little earlier. I'm now 60% ETH and 5% BTC.

I just can't understand how BTC can outperform ETH when ETH offers so much more value and functionality, and I think many others are starting to come to that conclusion, too.

My gut told me go heavy on ETH early and most people were telling me go heavy on BTC. I can't complain, because BTC went up 4x after I bought, but ETH has gone up 7x.

There are some, like you, who intuitively understand the processes and value behind the crypto. I suspect you and those like you make up a very small percentage of those speculating. McRib and I understand nothing about it...except the percent growth.

I’m thinking of opening a Robinhood account and throwing a few hundred at one or two of these. Any suggestions on which one(s) to go with?

Robinhood doesn't have a wallet for your coins because you don't actually own the coins

I'd be glad to give input here. Are you just sticking with Robinhood? There are other crypto options on other exchanges that are a bit cheaper but if you are sticking with RH Ethereum is a solid long term play.

I did Robinhood, it seemed to be the easiest. I put a few hundred in and split it up amongst Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum. Just something play around with and see what happens.

All three of those are good long term solid plays. I encourage you to read up on some others that have potential like Cardano, Stellar and Chainlink and check out coinbase.

I'm working on a Stromcoin blockchain as we speak. So far all I've got is computing the factorial of 69 on a TI SR-50A calculator. If anyone knows what I'm talking about you get a free Stromcoin.
When I create mine it will require reverse Polish computational capability.

I feel sorry for you that think crypto and Bitcoin are worth investing in
Don't. They are not investing; they're speculating. They know the risks and are only playing around with money they can afford to lose.

...at least that's my take.
