Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, and the Future of Global Finance

It has been derailed. Long ago. Instead of being about “Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, and the Future of Global Finance” in the Politics Forum it has become overwhelmed by CC Speculation. Maybe there should be a new thread in The Pub for the latter.

I assume when you said "CC Speculation" you were referring to the word "Cryptocurrency" which if you read the topic of this thread slow enough you will realize that CC "Cryptocurrency" Speculation is a part of the topic of said thread.

So instead of being about cryptocurrency its about CC aka "Cryptocurrency"?

I will have to admit your trolling is amusing. That is a nice way of saying obvious.

Maybe you should start a thread. But I am going to go out on a limb and say it will be a lonely place.

on another note, scrap the offer to consolidate my notes in one big post. Having said that if anyone lives near the Kingsport area I would love to get together at a restaurant and talk about crypto and make fun of trolls.

Compared to elsewhere on the internets, the crypto-pumping here is mild. I really doubt any naive investor is going to be lead to bet the farm on CC because of this thread.

But this is an actual business and not an opinion blog. It’s not good form for staff to attack posters that have a reasonable differing opinion when the potential to lose a lot of personal savings could be involved. Countering the opinion would have been fine. Ridiculing the poster and in essence encouraging others to pile on is not.

Given the recently events in China and Great Britain, I figured I'd throw a post up concerning a topic I've been keenly interested in over the past few months.

I'm convinced we are headed toward a global currency in the near future; a decentralized system that removes government/organization tampering and manipulation. And, I believe bitcoin has a very real chance to being that currency.

If you look into a part of the technology behind bitcoin, blockchain, you'll see the whose-who of the financial and corporate world heavily investing in this tech and desperately trying to bring their own (controlled) versions of bitcoin to the market before it's too late.

Anyone else following and investing in cryptocurrency?

I don’t see much discussion at all on those original points. I see all sorts of discussion about the cryptos that are supposed to make those going long extremely rich. Since it has been derailed I have suggested that you create a CC speculators thread in The Pub and maybe this one can revert back to the political aspect.

I have challenged those promoting the hot tips to back it up with something of substance. So far they have failed miserably. Even though I have suggested multiple times that I am on board with participating I’ve been attacked. I guess for not being interested in going all in.

Red? Black? Even? Odd? Help a brother out.

There are many threads you can go to, try the Reddit thread there are many there. After you spend some time there you will see this is a friendly and mild thread.

You have stated over and over again your not in the crypto market which was quite obvious with your delusional claims that your being attacked and demanding people prove to you that the hot tips that were so graciously posted be proven to you.

Do you want a screen shot of the entries that I made in January that are still up 500% + even after the huge correction. You got a lot of nerve to come in here admitting you have no experience and implying that people who have successfully navigated this market owe you. Here is your tip stop bitching, research, buy and hold. There is not get rich scheme that you falsely accuse the few poster on here of selling. And yes there are a ton of scams out there but you will never figure anything out buy irritating the #### out people in a forum.

Few months ago I had little altercation with that same member, finally just dropped it. Decided this is just a board and it was not worth it and was wasting time.

I see that you aren’t understanding my posts. I have said that I think the crypto currency valuations are too rich. I even suggested that I could go in a few percent. I would take something going up 500% in value in a couple of months as evidence that my opinion of overvaluation is reasonable. I’m sorry to interfere with your cheerleading and dissemination of the hot tips from some crypto bro’s blog.
