Black is one of Juniors main colors Black & Garnet
I'd rather see a sea of Orange & the Winners are clad in ORANGE
Yep. While I'm a fan of black and orange, we donned those orange helmets last year on the road for that epic disaster last year at SCjr. Don't need gimmicks or alternate looks. We just need to be Tennessee at home. Traditional orange and white and defend the hell out of our home field. We might not be a very good team this year, but I hope we have passion and pride. Maybe Milton and co can put together one of "those" games where everything kinda clicks. I'll take a replay of the LSU game last year where everything just went our way from the get go. Wins won't come easy from here on out. We need to take advantage of every winnable game.

All folks wearing black will only help make it look like more South Carolina fans are there. This isn’t the time for a black out. One of the dumbest ideas ever. Check Neyland orange and Black on Halloween week game. But not South Carolina, it would look like a gamecock crowd in Neyland. Not happening this week.

I can’t believe we have become so bush league that people feel that we need to do color gimmicks or crowd color -outs for a minor league game like SC Jr. I mean, really ?
They aren’t Florida or Oklahoma or KY on Halloween…. Maybe it’s just me … but get a grip people ….

but but momma said that wearing black isn’t traditional and color gimmicks are the devil.

I love college football and I also love seeing other schools do things like this and it’s not some minor league schools that do it. I get it that some of you bleed way more orange than others but times are changing in college sports and I’m here for it all.

I’ve been to Penn states whiteout and it was the best college event I’ve ever been too. The noise, atmosphere and experience is something I hope to see happen at Neyland.

I like the idea of wearing all black. That way we're already dressed for the funeral afterwards of our team's season.

A "white out" at Penn State makes sense because white is one of their primary colors. That's comparable to an "Orange Out" at Neyland.

A "black out" doesn't make sense for them especially if they're playing Pitt or any opponent with black as one of their primary colors.

A blackout isn't appropriate for PSU or UT especially when playing an opponent with black as one of their primary colors.

If one was to do something like a blackout, do it against a different team at night that doesn't have black as a primary color...

A black and orange checker would look cool, but not in September. Save that for a Halloween week game in Neyland next year or whenever.

I like a solid orange Neyland, especially at night. Everyone hates our shade of orange except for us, so fans should wear it as much as possible. Neyland looked amazing on television last year when the sun went down during the Bama game. 🍊

I hope they are seriously considering it. The atmosphere of Neyland would be such an amazing thing to witness. We deserve that as fans and the players would feed off it.

I hope we come out in orange, after all black is one of sc colors

Your not going to get many folks to wear black when it is one of South Carolina’s primary colors. Just move on from that idea. We need all the ORANGE we can have in Neyland Stadium!!

I agree with you, we are Ut Vols and orange is our color, that is the color we are known by, why try and change it?
