I love college football and I also love seeing other schools do things like this and it’s not some minor league schools that do it. I get it that some of you bleed way more orange than others but times are changing in college sports and I’m here for it all.

I’ve been to Penn states whiteout and it was the best college event I’ve ever been too. The noise, atmosphere and experience is something I hope to see happen at Neyland.

Heck have a gold out for Vandy while we’re at it. I love the Smokey grey uniforms and switching up a few times but these days somebody wants to go gimmick every week. Part of the tradition is the schools colors. Crimson and White to Orange and white to purple and gold to garnet and black to black and gold to blue and white. Tennessee don’t need gimmicks every week, playing in front of packed Neyland stadium should be enough incentive. We shouldn’t need a certain color to get us motivated. GBO

completely agree with you on this....
go with the colors our players eyes are used to. especially helpful on quick passing scenarios. this was always one of my reasons we lost to SC last year...
not to mention statistics prove black jersey teams get penalized more..

So we shouldn’t wear orange when we play teams like Clemson, Texas, Florida, etc?

What about white? Most teams have white in their colors as well.

I don’t care what we wear if it gets the players excited. Just win

I have no problem with the dark mode Smokey grey uniforms at all for this game. But we don’t need a blackout in the stands. The main thing is too have a loud crowd in the stands and I don’t think that will be a problem. The house rockin is what gets players fired up the most. We need a electric night in Neyland Stadium!!!! GBO
