Boardwalk Empire

Finally got up. Man I hate Dr. Narcisse.

This show keeps getting better. Virtually every character is believable except for the goofy guy that works the distillery and the Stephen Root character - both seem overacted to me.

Richard Harrow.........

Terrible. Of all people I definitely didn't see his death coming.

The scene at the train station where he said goodbye to his wife and kid hinted at his future. It definitely felt like a final goodbye.

That final scene was a perfect send off.

So it seems we are finally shifting to the Capone side of the story next season which should be awesome.

I think this is the direction the show is going to go. Nucky is going to Florida. His reign at the Boardwalk is coming to an end. Time to shift to Chicago and explore the rise of Al Capone.

Was planning to get all the seasons of Boardwalk Empire on DVD for Christmas - I never had time to watch the show, but it sounds like a good one - I used to watch the Sopranos over and over (yeah obsessive fan of it)

From the moment he appeared in season 1, this was the way it had to go down. Richard finally finished his long journey home.

Picked up the first two seasons on Black (Thursday) Friday for $9.96 each I've never seen it.

So is the consensus that it's worth keeping and checking them out?

Just really would have liked to have seen narcisse(spelling)?, catch a bullet. Never liked that character, but I understand why they did what they did story wise.

Oh man, that finale was brutal, but awesome. Harrow!!!! My only complaint is that Narcisse is back for season 5. Dude is not half the character Rosetti was. I wanted Rosetti to get 2 seasons so badly.

Lots of stuff still going on on the east coast, I figure next season will sow the seeds for the beginning of the Castellammarese War. The fact that Narcisse is tied to Masseria on some level, and is returning, indicates that next season will be heavily New York based.

I was talking to someone the other day about this show. They seemed to think that they were only going to do 5 seasons of Boardwalk. Anyone know if that is true?

There's some "insider" who is supposedly on the B'walk staff who is always spoiling endings and talking about actors and actresses on the sets. I guess he's been right a lot and he's saying there's only one more season left and it's all over the internet now. Who knows. Could just be a troll.

Sounds like he should start posting in the VN recruiting forum.
