Bob Kesling inducted in Tennessee radio HoF

Biggest moment since he took over from Ward and Bob says: "It just gets over the upright"...Geez....crossbar Bob, the crossbar...

I'm not so sure about that: "What a turn of events" was a classic Bob moment as well.

I didn't really mean it as a comparison to Kesling in any way. Loved Ward when radio was the only option but it was just distracting to me when paired with TV.

Granted, his job wasn't to be a TV announcer but a radio announcer and he was great at it.

No doubt about it. He was notorious for being behind the play several seconds embellishing the excitement. He had an awkward streak that wasn’t really apparent unless you were watching live. Even back then, he was a throwback to 15-20 years earlier when hardly anything was on TV.
