I like Bob. His style is certainly more business-like than many in the biz.

I've seen complaints Bobs not good of informing clock time and position of ball on field but I've not had an issue.

I do have to say the soccer-esque call by the Mexican broadcaster of Milton's run was amazing even tho I didn't understand a word

They played his call of Dee’s return for a touchdown to take the lead, and it sounded about as exciting as a funeral procession. In contrast, I just heard the Washington guy do the call for them taking the lead, and while granted it’s later in the game, there is just no comparison. I miss John.
1st time ever heard Bob wasn't good.

Yea that was embarrassing and a disservice to DW. He spent half the play trying to figure out what yard line he caught the punt on. By the time it sounded like there might be something to get excited about, it was over.

Bob is the absolute worst play caller out there. I still remember growing up, Dad would mute the TV and blast John Ward. When Bob came along, we did that one time and it was enough. He’s hot garbage.

I've called for the firing of Bumbling Bob for years. Has nothing to do with following John Ward either.

He just simply sucks at his job and has arguably gotten worse in the quarter century he's called games.

If any of us sucked as bad at our jobs as bad as he does at his, we wouldn't get 'excuses' to dismiss our performance. We'd be out of a job. He should be too.

I just heard Bobs call of return for TD. I couldn't visualize Bob doing summersaults in the booth but there was good emotion. It was a good call.

Guess I'm just that guy.

A couple of reasons Bob is bad:
1) When a player catches a ball, he focuses first on the player’s name instead of what yard line the ball is on. Everyone who watches football cares about what yard line the ball is on first, and then after that’s confirmed, looks to see who made the play. Bob does the opposite, and because he’s way too quick with identifying the player with the ball, he often gets that wrong, and lists 2 or 3 names before letting us know if it’s a first down or what. It’s so annoying.

2) He has a real problem with saying “he gained a couple.” I’ve heard “a couple” mean one yard, two yards, and even six yards. It’s just awful you never really know where the ball is.

There’s more that drives me crazy about him, but that’s enough to get someone else in my book.

I just listen to Bob and skip the analysis.

I used to do this with people but I gave up when I realized they'd never live up to my expectations.

I now wear boxers and life is just more comfortable.

I was listening to the game on the radio while watching my sons hockey game today. He’s not John Ward and no one else ever will be, but he sure beats Gary Danielson’s dumbass.

Folks have been complaining about him since Ward retired. What's the point? No offense, but with all the issues and shortcomings on the field and with this coaching staff, isn't there enough to witch about already?

Kesling should retire after this season.

Guys and girls…now I know like the rest of you, that Bob isn’t John Ward…but I don’t think that was ever his goal. He’s a great man of this community, and he is one of us. He’s always been very kind and gracious every time I’ve ran into him, and he’s always got time for a conversation about whatever is on your mind. And believe me, that has to have been a challenge at times for him if you are like me. I don’t want to knock him none. He gets the job done.
