Bobby Petrino involved in motorcycle wreck

But that's going to be true regardless of what the school does now.

If someone applied for her position, male or female, the school could face civil lawsuits, EEOC compliance issues.

Most state and city governments forbid supervisor/ subordinate relationships. It causes all kinds of problems

Unless someone can absolutely prove otherwise, I bet legal position is going to be there was no improper relationship prior to her being hired( as ridiculous as that comes across). If they can pull that one off then it wiill be up to the university to determine if he has brought enough negative pub on the school to warrant firing. If they think they can get away with it they will.

Her hiring was announced on March 28th. There is absolutely no way they can argue that the relationship was 3 days old when the crash happened. Absolutely no way.

If you can't prove otherwise they certainly can, no matter how unlikely it is.
They can contend that was the first "date"

I'm not saying they couldn't make that argument if they are dumb enough to try. What I'm saying is that no one would buy it, and the negative press would be so bad that the school would become a poster child for sexual harassment, nepotism, and excused adultery. An institution of higher learning cannot invite that kind of publicity on itself.

I agree with you, but we are about to see how far a school will twist itself to keep winning football games.

Don't you know the Petrino/Pitino days in Louisville were some crazy days? I betcha Petrino had a few late nights at Porcini's too.

Verci, I found it

http://ofaa.uark.edu/SEXUAL_HARASSMENT_POLICY.pdf

Quid pro quo harassment involves an explicit or implied exchange; that is, the granting ordenial of a benefit or privilege in exchange for sexual considerations. The harasser uses submission to or rejection of the offensive conduct as the basis for decisions such as employment, promotion, transfer, selection for training, performance evaluation, or the basis for academic evaluation or recommendations.

Consensual sexual relationships between faculty and their students or between supervisors and their employees in some instances may result in charges of sexual harassment.
Consensual relationships may lead other faculty and students or supervisors and coworkers to question the validity of grades, evaluations, and other interactions between the people involved in such a relationship. The integrity of the work of both people in the relationship may be compromised.

I've seen it being reported that Arkansas does not have such a law.

Maybe they just look at the same as dating your sister or cousin..... you know just natural. :pepper:

Also don't see anybody pursuing harrassment angle. Seems she was willing partner.

It can be consensual and be sexual harassment.

I know it makes no sense, but a 3rd party can claim that they were treated differently than her, because of her relationship with Petrino.

Whether they do or not, the lawyers may try to avoid that angle. In that case, I would say she is more likely to get the boot than Petrino

Consensual or not, it's still sexual harassment if it's likely that the hiring or promotion would not have occurred if the manager and subordinate were not having sex.

And in this case, while she may well lose her job (or quit), as the one with all the power Petrino would have to go before she could be fired.

So apparently Bobby had a passenger on his motorcycle when he had his little accident. Wasn't reported at first but Arkansas Highway Patrol released the info. Apparently she isn't his wife either Uh-oh (Carl Lewis voice)

She also just so happens to be a hot former volleyball player

Ole Bobby may have explaining to do!

I don't see anything with that:)

I'm loving every minute watching Petrino's life fall apart.

He is a sleeze ball and a pathological liar.

Seems it's a new position that was created. So it should have to be "posted" for people to apply right? Does it work like that in Arkansas? They're was a hire of another person for a similar position, so do you think that'll be used to help skirt some issues?

Anyway i cant wait to hear the argument of who took advantage of who in this deal??? Women can't use the whole "he used his power" to force me to do it anymore like they use to. That's bogus and woman are just as bad as men are if not worse nowadays.

According to reports the job was posted the same day her hire was announced. So if there was a requirement for the job to be posted the requirement was met, but it does not appear than anyone else was given more than a few hours to apply.

Sucks for the fiancee like someone mentioned earlier. Thought he ha a trophy wife to be. Only issue Petrino mounted that trophy first.

My my...what do we have here? Long blond hair, blue eyes like the ocean, firm hips, soft pouty breasts....who could blame ole Bobby??? But them teeth.....raahh...looks like a piranha
