oh snap - probably will come back to haunt him but still gave me a chuckle

Boehner: President Obama

Boehner: "Sometimes I have to catch my breath and slow down because the rhetoric in this campaign is just so over the top. And that's because the President's policies have failed. Listen — 93% of Americans believe they're a part of the middle class. That's why you hear the President talk about the middle class every day, because he's talking to 93% of the American people. But the President has never created a job. He's never even had a real job for Christ's sake. And I can tell you from my dealings with him, he has no idea how the real world, that we actually live in, works."

on Reid's comment about Romney not having paid income taxes...

"I don't know how you go out there and make a statement like that without any facts," Boehner said. "It's one of the problems that occurs here in Washington, people run out there without any facts and just make noise. The American people are too smart for this, they'll get to the bottom of this, it clearly is not a fact, and I would think that the Senate majority leader would be smart enough to know that."

I don't understand why the GOP isn't pushing back harder with O's follies of the past 4 years. From the seedy deals of Obamacare to his antagonistic posture to the ones who actually create jobs, I haven't noticed a full throated chorus from the leadership. Surrogates can't be the only ones relied on to do this because 80% of the MSM will ignore them.

Apparently he actually said "God's sake" but I don't know if that's materially different.

Joe Biden says its a BFD.

Well, you got the party nominating a guy from a cult and then the Speaker talkin' agin' the Bible. I'd say between the two of them they've given the fundamentalists something to talk about for awhile.

The problem is they don't have candidate of their own to champion. You can only run a negative campaign so long before it backfires. They are trying to walk that line which is tricky.

Truth hurts. Community organizer to Senator where he was absent a majority of the time and didn't serve a full term to President. Wow. He's clearly in touch with Americans va that other guy..... Haha

I guess Boehner doesn't think he has a real job right now.

...and thinks the POTUS isn't a real job.

btw...not disagreeing with him at all.

Boehner could make that concession and still have vastly more real world experience than BO

I've seen many a good men in the church lose it over Obama. They pray, ask for forgiveness, ask for a real President, and move on.

The devil is strong.

One that requires you have a definable impact on the profitability of the origination, or you get fired. No matter how swell you appear to be.

Carefully crafted so that Obama can't meet it but Romney can. Well played.

So, based upon Boehner's logic, he himself (Boehner) doesn't hold a real job, if, as he says, serving in Congress is not a real job. I guess that means he shouldn't take his fake job so seriously then.

Surely you don't think this undermines his point?
